Welcome to Boyertown Marriage and Family Therapy!
Dr. Amber Berkoski is the owner and operator of BMFT. Dr. Berkoski always knew she wanted to work with families, as she comes from a rather blended one herself. When asked, she'll often say family therapy chose her - rather than the other way around.

Dr. Berkoski founded Boyertown Marriage and Family Therapy in 2017 as a local practice offering therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. She holds special certification in advanced disciplined uniquely tailored for children with trauma and emotional disorders.
Dr. Berkoski is a licensed marriage and family therapist and earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology while raising babies at home. She worked full time in community mental health while she completing her Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and Doctorate degree in Counselor Education & Supervision. Dr. Berkoski graduated with distinction in 2011, 2014, and 2019, respectively.
Dr. Berkoski received her certification in EcoSystemic Structural Family Therapy from the Philadelphia Child and Family Guidance Center and is trained in Gottman Marriage Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She also practices Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and utilizes many tenets from Multi-Cultural Therapy to address the needs of diverse families.
Dr. Berkoski gained clinical and supervisory experience working with at-risk youth and their families. She has five years teaching and training experience and eight years supervision experience working with newly minted relational therapists looking to grow. She has been an Approved AAMFT Supervisor since 2021.
